I found Mr Al-Mahfoudh a very pleasant and informative person to talk to and explained my problems and treatment that was needed very concisely. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who has a similar problem. I would also say that the front of house staff were very helpful and courteous to me .

Mr Rafid Al-Mahfoudh was most helpful in advising me on the various options to relieve the pain I was suffering due to a trapped nerve in my spine. The procedure was carried out at Brighton Nuffield hospital under NHS funding and the treatment I received was first class. I highly recommend Mr Al-Mahfoudh, he is a caring doctor who listens to you and inspires you with confidence. I am so pleased to be relieved of the debilitating pain and grateful to him and all the team who looked after me with such care and kindness. I yes! I wholeheartedly recommend Mr Al-Mahfoudh.

Mr Rafid Mahfoudh I had c6/c7 disc replaced and I was referred and was seen within weeks , I was operated on by a great team and I felt so safe , being a nurse makes one more terrified knowing too much ! Mr Mafoudh I felt totally at ease with very approachable , he is certainly a perfectionist ! A thank you. To his wonderful secretary and the specialist nurse ! Angels ! I am still under their care and feel so well looked after as the pain before the operation was immense ! Thank you for giving back a right arm and neck as I was truly suffering! Very honoured to have such a highly qualified surgeon !

I moved from Nottingham to West Sussex a couple of years ago and I have suffered from chronic low back and cervical pain for many years. I knew my pain team well in Nottingham and I was a bit anxious about finding someone in Sussex who could help me with my pain. I had no need to worry. Mr Rafid Al-Mahfoudh put me at my ease the first time I met him even though he was confronted with my complicated spinal history. His gentle and concerned approach gives you confidence to have whatever option he offers you. I had ‘Bilateral Sacroiliac Joint Injections’ done under sedation in November. It was a straight forward and easy procedure which left me pain free for the first time in years. I fact I forgot how wonderful it feels to be without pain in my lumber spine. I would recommend Mr Al-Mahfoudh to anyone who has any spinal problems and will not hesitate to go back to see him again if the need arises.

I was recommended to Mr Al-Mahfoudh by my GP due to me suffering with severe sciatica. Like many others will know this condition can and did make my life a misery, and ultimately an intervention was needed. Mr Al-Mahfoudh explained things in simple terms so that I could make an informed decision in confidence. The procedure went well and whilst there is a way to go, I am now almost pain free and beginning to get some normality back into my life.
